The weather was not really going our way when we were at Taal Vista Hotel. We were supposed to have a glam picnic in one of their pretty domes but it rained and the grass was wet, but of course, that did not stop us from indulging in what was supposed to be the food for our glam picnic.

We decided to have it in one of their alfresco tables instead. Good thing Taal Vista Hotel accommodated our request and even prepared a table that has a gorgeous view for us, so our supposed glam picnic turned into a lovely merienda with a view instead. 

The Glam Picnic of Taal Vista Hotel comes as a set and diners can choose between two options: Afternoon Delight and Sweet Get Together. Each set can be availed for Php 5500, and can serve up to four people. 

What we got to try was their Sweet Get Together, and let us tell you that the whole of it was able to satisfy all four of us, plus two kids as this set actually comes with generous servings of eight delectable plates. We first got to enjoy their platter of Cheese and Cold Cuts and a plate of Quesadilla. These two had us munching and wanting for more. 

Next we had their Clubhouse Sandwiches as well as Mini Burgers which were all tasty and filling. Of course, since we are already going handsy with our food, we decided to reach for their yummy Pepperoni Pizza too.

After those, we also had their Penne Pesto; plus sweets to balance all the savories that we first had. For sweets, we had a platter of Mini Cakes and another platter of Fresh Fruits that were in season.

To help us down all that, Taal Vista Hotel also served us a pitcher of Four Seasons that had us feeling refreshed! We really enjoyed our Glam Picnic turned al fresco merienda with a view. 

Taal Vista Hotel once again proved to us how well they take care of their guests, and we really appreciate them finding a way for our Glam Picnic to still push through.
