Recently, B Hotel Alabang hosted a foodie event called Meet & Eat that highlights the hotel’s dishes. B Hotel Alabang is a premier 4 star hotel under The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts. The event was filled with music, and well of course, mouth-watering dishes!
The night started with mini appetizers and an open bar by the Monkey Eagle Brewery while everyone registers. The waiters roam around with empanadas and burgers in bite sizes. We especially enjoyed the tuna empanada, it paired perfectly with the bitter taste of the ale beer.
After a bit of chatting, dinner officially started at the hotel’s dining area, Prime Cafe. The cafe offers a diverse selection of dishes from breakfast to dinner. Although it offers intercontinental cuisine, Sous Chef Ricky Galon wanted to create a menu that would preserve the local Filpino taste just like their best selling dishes.
I’ve always been a big fan of pizza! Luckily, for me they serve assorted pizzas. Like I’ve mentioned, you’ll see the Filipino touch from the appetizers to their main course, and the Sisig pizza got everyone’s attention. Just imagine your favorite sisig in melted cheese. It became a crowd favorite instantly.
If you’re craving for a more Asian taste, their menu also includes Chinese, Japanese, and Korean selections. You could enjoy their bestselling dishes like Siomai, Siopao, Californa Maki, and Kimchi.
During the event, you’ll see the chef proudly carving one of their bestsellers, Johnny’s Rib Eye Steak. It indeed deserved to be one of the bests! And paired with a perfectly blended sauce, we just couldn’t get enough!
Of course a meal wouldn’t be complete without dessert!
During the event we were serenaded by Jinky Vidal and later on partnered with her husband, Jeric Medina. The night went by fast with free flowing beer and gintonics. In between their sets they let guests and even the staffs sing along with the band. They sang songs from the 90’s and by the end of the night got everyone singing and feeling nostalgic.
