Mornings at Taal Vista Hotel are cool, cozy, and overall lovely. Usually, the surroundings are foggy and since Taal Volcano is an active volcano, you will be able to see how it releases smoke up in the air like it is greeting you “Hello!”.

That said, mornings at Taal Vista Hotel also are exciting, especially when you think about the Breakfast Buffet they have all prepared and set up for you. The Veranda, one of their in-house restaurants, is where they hold their Breakfast Buffet and guests and diners can choose between enjoying their breakfast inside the restaurant or outside in their al fresco seating, with the wonderful view of Taal. 

The Breakfast Buffet Spread of The Veranda can cater to a lot of breakfast preferences. Regardless if you are one to go for a heavy breakfast or light one, surely you will find something to dig into such as Pancakes which you can make more delightful with butter, strawberry syrup, chocolate syrup, and even whipped cream. They also have a variety of jams and spreads that you can use for the breads and pastries they have up for grabs. 

The Veranda also has a Salad Station wherein you can make your own salad as they have leafy vegetables, red and green bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, raisins, and cheese all set up. They also have different dressings to make your salad tasty such as balsamic vinaigrette, thousand island, and the classic caesar dressing. 

Aside from light options, as we have mentioned earlier, The Veranda also offers heavy breakfast choices. When we were there, the spread included steamed rice, garlic rice, baked beans, roasted potato, fried salinyasi, chicken tocino, pork sliced ham, and beef tapa. We also got to pair those with their well-loved beef soup that can be tweaked in accordance to your flavor preference as it comes with fried garlic, fish sauce, and onion leeks. 

Meanwhile, if you can’t live without your eggs in the morning, then you are in luck because The Veranda has an Egg Station during their Breakfast Buffet, and here you can request your eggs to be cooked the way you want to eat it. 

Near their Egg Station are their cereals which you can dig into with either full cream milk or low fat milk. They also have yummy Champorado that is just oh-so-delectable!

Of course, The Veranda also has fresh fruits that you can reach for. These fruits depend on what is in season, so what we got were watermelon, melon, and pineapple; and beside it are their Greek and blueberry yogurts. 

Last but definitely not the least, fruit juices such as orange, apple, and mango are available; but of course, they do offer coffee and tea too. The Veranda really made sure that everyone can have a good time in their Breakfast Buffet.
