Juddies Bulaluhan: Feast on Boodles, Unli Sabaw, and Unli Barako

We know we just recently welcomed 2024 and summer is already near, but we just can’t wait anymore! This year, we hope to be able to take you with us to our adventures even more, and so for our first destination for this year, we decided to go to Tagaytay!

Tagaytay is just a few hours from Metro Manila and it is no secret that it is home to many must-try restaurants. We have stayed here in Tagaytay quite a few times already, and with that, we have also tried a lot of dining places too. As that is the case, you would probably think that we have tried almost everything already, but lo and behold, we have not! In fact, we think there are still a lot of restaurants that we have not tried compared to the number of restaurants that we have tried already.

Juddies Bulaluhan

With that, we finally said hello to Juddies Bulaluhan! Apparently, Juddies Bulaluhan is well-loved here in Tagaytay, to the point that people drive all the way to their branches just to get a taste of their delicious offerings. Known personalities and celebrities even pick up their orders personally every chance they get.

The menu of Juddies Bulaluhan is as straightforward as it could get—it is loaded with classic Filipino dishes that bring comfort to us all. From appetizers to entrees, diners’ palates will surely be satisfied with familiar and homey flavors.

With open windows that allow the fresh and cool Tagaytay breeze to come in, Juddies Bulaluhan’s offering of unli sabaw and unli kapeng barako are just two of the many reasons why people enjoy dining with them even more. Another reason is their boodle offerings which are perfect for big groups!

Speaking of, their Bulalo Boodle (4 to 6 people Php 2015) is a special bilao that is filled with Lechon Kawali, Nilasing na Hipon, Crispy Crablet, Ensaladang Talong, Salted Egg, and a platter of Rice. This hearty meal also comes with their oh-so-delicious Special Bulalo, alongside a bottle of Soda or Iced Tea.

Aside from their Bulalo Boodle, Juddies Bulaluhan also has Pinakbet Con Lechon (Php 420) and Tofu Sisig (Php 215) up for grabs! These two savory dishes definitely made our meal more tasty and enjoyable.

As we wanted more sisig, Juddies Bulaluhan then served us their Pork Sisig (Php 380) which really came in hot and sizzling, making us drool even more. We also got to relish this with another saucy dish from Juddies Bulaluhan and it was none other than their Crispy Dinuguan (Php 415). These really went well with steamed rice.

Honestly, we had more rice than we intended to have, especially when Juddies Bulaluhan placed in front of us their generous serving of Crispy Pata (Php 895) which can be delighted in as is or with Kare-Kare sauce. Every mouthful of this dish just gave us that crunchy and tender bite that we really seek for when it comes to Crispy Pata, and for that we can say that we really had a great time with Juddies Bulaluhan!

Ending our meal with them on a sweet note, Juddies Bulaluhan’s Ube Turon (Php 165) was truly a delight to have! It was such a nice treat to close this wonderful dining experience.

Currently, Juddies Bulaluhan has 5 branches around South. The one we dined in was their Tagaytay branch, but their newest one can be found in SM Sto. Tomas, Batangas, wherein diners can avail their must-try Sulit Meals and Sizzling Silogs. Indeed, Juddies Bulaluhan had us happy and satisfied so if you want to try them too, we suggest you check out their Facebook and Instagram to see more of what they are offering.
